Feb 10th - Valentines Day Dance at the New Mechanics North Sherwood Street. Buffet & dance £7.00

Feb 15th - Conducted coach tour of Derbyshire. This year we will be touring the Dams via Beeley Moor, Baslow, Calver, Froggett Edge and Haversage. This wonderful Derbyshire scenery is a sight to behold. A tour not to be missed!! Price £12.00

Feb 27th - Bakewell Market & Masson Mills. Bakewell has been a market town since 1330. With its fine stone buildings, modern Bakewell has something for everyone with its recently revamped town center. We will then journey on to Masson Mills to see if we can bag a bargain. Price £12.00

Feb 29th - Members' Meeting. 1.0pm Ballroom of the Council House.

March 8th - Retford & Lakeside. The lovely old town of Retford holds an excellent market day every Thursday and has an award winning butchers shop. After lunch we will proceed to Lakeside Village which is an exciting and fast growing shopping complex situated just outside the town centre at Doncaster. Price £12.00

March 30th - Stamford & Rutland Water. Stamford with the magnificent buildings and superb markets, is the finest stone town in England. On this day, there will be a farmers market where everything is auctioned off with such a diverse range of goods from rusty old farm implements, lamp posts, cattle trucks and lovely pottery. On our way back, we will visit Rutland Water with its beautiful wild fowl. Price £12.00

Apr 7th - Easter Dance Bonnet Parade and Buffet. Once again the Easter Bunny will be out and about and hopefully lots of you will be coming along with your Easter Bonnets for the annual parade. Great dance music, lots of fun and a sumptuous buffet. Gentlemen, we need you to!! The more the merrier whether you can dance or not. Price £10.00

Apr 6th-10th - Office closed, Easter Holidays

May 5th - Spalding Tulip Festival. Award winning new co-ordinators have revitalised this most famous flower parade for 2012 and BBC Countryfile says that "the parade should be a spectacular day out." The Parade starts at 2pm. A dazzling Flower Queen Royal Float with specially commissioned trumpet Fanfare for Spalding. More excitingly designed, breath-taking floats decorated with thousands of hand-pinned tulip heads. 2012 theme celebrates "Food Glorious Food", to entertain, delight and surprise you. Colourful marching bands, live music performers, street entertainers etc. Price £13.00

May 7th - 11th - Office closed, Spring Bank Holiday

May 16th - AGM Members' Meeting in the ballroom of the Council House. 1.0pm

June 4th - 5th. - Office closed, Jubilee Bank Holiday

June 11-15th. - Eastborne 5 day break. Dinner Bed and Breakfast.

The Glastonbury Hotel is prominently situated on the seafront in the popular town of Eastbourne. The spacious lounge and bar is a welcoming environment where guests can meet and relax with wide views of the beautiful coastline. The hotel is close to the pier and promenade, town centre, Devonshire Park and the theatre. The area is very flat so is also suited to those who are not fully mobile. During our stay at Eastborne, there will be a full day trip to Brighton and a half day trip to Beachy Head, calling at Eastborne’s Harbour area on the way. Price for this great trip £185

July 7th - Wisbech Rose Fair. Once again, we will be visiting this fantastic event in Wisbech.

All the stalls etc are very close to the area where the coach is parked and the parade takes place. Coaches come from all over the country it is so popular. When the parade is moving, rose petals are thrown over the watching public and the whole atmosphere is like a lovely village carnival. Local people man most of the stalls selling home grown fruit and veg plus lots of plants and craft items. Not to be missed. Price £14.50
