Nottingham Elders' Forum partake in an NCS project to enable young people to engage in social action in their communities
NCS is a scheme targeted for young people, which allows them to engage in activities based around the organisation's three core themes: social cohesion, social mobility and social engagement.
NCS aims to bring together different communities, creating a stronger and more integrated society in which understanding is fostered between young people and others from different backgrounds.
Nottingham Elders' Forum partnered up with NCS as a means of giving younger people the opportunity to build on their understanding of their responsibilities as members of the local community, as well as to show them an insight as to what we do as a charity.
As a result of the project and time spent with the Forum, the younger individuals involved with the NCS project created a trailer to advertise the aims and values of the Forum.
